For students entering Spring 2013
Friday, November 30th, 2012 No longer accepting applications. Transfer students with an AA-T or AS-T degree may audition. BA only. We are also accepting Veterans/Active Duty, International, and out-of-state students for MM and MA degree. Last day to sign up is November 16th, 2012
For students entering Fall 2013
Friday, February 8, 2013 - No longer accepting applicants
Friday, March 8, 2013 - No longer accepting applicants
Friday, April 12, 2013 - No longer accepting applicants
Registration closes two weeks prior to each audition date!
Placement Exams
All undergraduate students must take placement exams on the first day of lecture. Please attend the first class meeting for MUS 130 for Theory, MUS 221 for Ear Training and MUS 201 for Piano.

How to Schedule an Audition
Audition Registration for Fall 2013 applicants will begin now until Friday March 29th. Please click on the link to register for auditions https://docs.google.com/a/cca.sfsu.edu/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dFlO... You will be sent a confirmation email (which includes your individual audition times) one-and-a-half weeks before your selected audition date. If you have not heard back from us by the weekend before your audition, please send an email to smd@sfsu.edu.
The music application process is completely independent of the university application/admission process; you also need to make sure to apply to SFSU! Information on how to apply can be found at http://www.sfsu.edu/future/appcentral/appcentral.html
NOTE: If you cannot attend a live audition for Fall admission, you may submit a recorded audition instead. All recorded auditions must be received by March 1st, 2013
