From the North: Take Highway 101 South, cross the Golden Gate Bridge. Take
19th Avenue/Highway 1 exit. Follow 19th Avenue to campus at Holloway Avenue.
From the South: Take I-280 North, exit at 19th Avenue. Take Junipero Serra
Boulevard to Holloway Avenue, turn left on Holloway Avenue to campus at 19th Avenue.
From the East: Take I-80 West across the Bay Bridge to Highway 101 South.
Take 101 South to I-280 toward Daly City. Take the Mission St./Daly City exit, bearing right onto
Sagamore Street to Brotherhood Way to Junipero Serra Boulevard North. Take Junipero Serra Boulevard
to Holloway Avenue, turn left on Holloway Avenue to campus at 19th Avenue. To get directly to the
parking garage stay on Brotherhood Way and turn right onto Lake Merced Blvd. Two stoplights up is
the entrance to the public parking garage (turn right).
BART: [top]
Take any San Francisco-bound BART train to the Daly City BART station. SFSU runs a free shuttle service
to campus from the Daly City BART station during the normal school year. Buses are scheduled
every 15 minutes, Monday - Thursday, from 7a.m. until 10:30p.m. (last 19th Ave. pick-up at 10p.m.)
and on Fridays from 7a.m. until 7p.m. (last 19th Ave. pick-up at 6:50p.m.).
There is no shuttle service on weekends, during the summer or on campus holidays.
MUNI and SamTrans also have bus service from the Daly City BART station. MUNI's 28 line and SamTrans'
3B line serve the campus 7 days a week.
Obtain a transfer (good for one ride to & from BART) from the machine in the lobby
before exiting the station. Exit at the 19th Ave. & Holloway Avenue stop.

From downtown San Francisco , take MUNI Metro M-Oceanview streetcar.
The campus is also served by the following MUNI bus lines:
M- Oceanview- streetcar to downtown and Balboa Park Station.
17- Park Merced to West Portal Station.
18- 46th Avenue/Zoo, Sunset and Richmond Districts, Palace
of the Legion of Honor.
26- Valencia to Ocean View, Balboa Park BART station, Glen
Park Station, Mission District to 5th & Mission.
28- 19th Avenue to Daly City BART station, Sunset and Richmond
Districts, Golden Gate Bridge, Fort Mason. (28L- limited service Monday-Friday only).
29- Sunset to Ingleside, Excelsior, Bayview districts and
Candlestick Park.
SFSU Shuttle: [top]
SFSU maintains a free shuttle service during fall and spring semesters.
Service goes Lot 25 and the Daly City BART station every 15-20 minutes, 7am-10:30pm Monday
through Thursday, and 7am-7pm on Friday.

* Once the Lot 25/Daly City BART shuttle drops off on 19th/Holloway the next stop will be the BART
Station. Those who want to go strait to Lot 25 should go to any of the other stops.
Caltrain: [top]
Take
Caltrain North to the very last stop at 4th & King. From the Caltrain
station you can either walk North West up 4th or 5th Street (about 12 city blocks) to Market
Street or you can catch MUNI lines 15, 30, 42, or 45 towards Market Street.
From Market Street take the underground MUNI Metro M-Line outbound (Cost $1).
The M-Line will drop you off directly in front of campus at 19th Ave. & Holloway Ave. (just after
the Stonestown Shopping Center).
Golden Gate Transit: [top]
Take any Golden Gate Transit line going to the San Francisco side of the Golden Gate Bridge.
You can take either the MUNI 28 or 29 bus routes or the free SFSU Shuttle.
SamTrans: [top]
122- (SamTrans Line) to Stonestown.
Bay Area Ferries: [top]
The ferries listed below all drop off at the San Francisco Ferry Building. From the Ferry Building
cross The Embarcadero to Market Street and take the underground MUNI M-line to the San Francisco
State University stop (just pass the Stonestown shopping mall).
