Becoming a Dance Major at SFSU
Dance Auditions:
New students who seek to begin technique
classes beyond the basic

of Modern, Ballet, and Jazz techniques.
No special preparation is needed. At this placement audition, students
are evaluated by several dance faculty members. These recommendations
are submitted to an advisor who assists the student with scheduling of
his or her classes.
