Second Bachelor's Degree
If your first degree is not in music, you
will probably want to apply for a second baccalaureate degree. Most
of the entry requirements for the second bachelors degree are
the same as the standard bachelors degree. However, we require
you to demonstrate that your theory and ear-training skills are above
the fundamental level. See To Pass out of MUS 130 on the placement
exam page. The University Office of Admissions will process your
application after you have auditioned and passed the fundamentals exam.
See the audition
schedule for dates of placement exams.
We advise you to take the placement exams early
so that you will have the results of the exams in time to submit your
application.
